ACP Magazines announces 2nd annual Australian Beauty Awards

ACP Magazines has this week announced the Australian Beauty Awards will take place for the second consecutive year in 2010.
Launched in 2009, the Australian Beauty Awards are the country’s biggest-ever magazine media beauty initiative. The awards celebrate the best products across the breadth of the beauty industry ranging from skincare and makeup to fragrance and body.
A panel of 16 beauty experts including editors from leading magazines madison, The Australian Women’s Weekly, Grazia, and Woman’s Day together with respected leaders from the beauty industry will test thousands of products for the 2010 awards.
Last year more than 1,600 beauty products were submitted to the Australian Beauty Awards, and were voted for by more than 8,500 readers via www.beautyawards.com.au. The official awards website will once again be home to the latest beauty news, skincare tips, makeup tricks, and daily blogs from Australia’s favourite fashion editors, and will also detail the full list of winners of the five award categories once announced.
Winners will be published in a 12 page beauty supplement in the August issues of Grazia, Cosmopolitan, madison and The Australian Women's Weekly.
The Brand Ambassador championing this year’s awards has been announced as Bronwyn McCahon, Editor, Cosmopolitan and Editorial Director, Dolly. McCahon said: “The Australian Beauty Awards will once again acknowledge the industry’s best beauty, fragrance, skincare, bodycare, cosmetic and hair products. Combining the beauty expertise and reach of the ACP Women’s Lifestyle stable, the Australian Beauty Awards will become the leading authority on beauty in the country.”
