New editor appointed for OK! Australia

Northern & Shell Pacific has today announced the appointment of Nicole Byers as the editor of OK! Australia.
Nicole has extensive experience in the competitive weekly magazine market in Australia, including three and a half years as editor of NW, three years at Woman’s Day in Deputy and Acting Editor roles, and a recent stint editing TV WEEK.
Prior to her achievements in the weekly market Nicole, who began her career at The Australian newspaper, honed her writing and sub-editing skills on a wide range of monthly magazines in Australia and the UK, including SHE (Australia), New Woman (UK), B Magazine (UK) and Ministry Magazine (UK).
Nicole said of her appointment, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work on a magazine I have long admired and the opportunity to combine my celebrity news and features skills with my passion for the dynamic weekly medium is exciting.”
On behalf of Northern & Shell, Richard Desmond said: “We are delighted with what has been achieved with OK! and we are confident that Nicole is going to add greatly to the magazine’s growth and development.”  
Nicole Byers replaces Claire Isaac who announced her resignation from the role of Editor, OK! Magazine.
Mr Desmond said: “We would like to thank Claire who played an integral role in the success of the magazine and we wish her all the best in her future.”
