Robyn Foyster returns to ACP Magazines

ACP Magazines today announced the appointment of Robyn Foyster as Associate Publisher.
She will join the senior executive team of Australia’s leading magazine group.
Announcing the appointment, Phil Scott, Managing Director of ACP Magazines, said Ms Foyster’s return to Park Street was a significant investment in the company’s commitment to producing Australia’s best quality titles.
“Robyn is an outstanding media professional with a strong background as a magazine editor,
both on weeklies and monthlies, and a strong television background. In an integrated world, her
experience will be invaluable,” Mr Scott said.
Ms Foyster is a former Editor-in-Chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly and Editor-in-
Chief of New Idea. More recently, she was Lifestyle Editor of Channel 7’s breakfast show,
Sunrise.
With over 25 years’ experience as a journalist, Ms Foyster has worked for magazines, newspapers and in television in Australia, Britain, America and New Zealand.
She was voted Editor of the Year at the 2007 Magazine of the Year Awards.
Ms Foyster said: “I am excited to work for ACP again under Phil Scott’s strong leadership. I
have ink in my blood and a passion for magazines and ACP has the best mastheads in the
country.”
The appointment is effective in early 2011.
